Charming, juicy, fragrant.
Some wines just make you smile more than others, this utterly delightful Dolcetto (Italian meaning: little sweet one) is a charming one that fits the bill.
It was aged a year, partially in larger format oak barrel and the rest in concrete and has 5% Tempranillo blended in.
It is a juicy red I'd be happy to drink any day, especially with a slight chill before serving. It has pretty grapey aromas woven with sweet wild berries, sweet spices, and purple flowers. In the mouth rooibos tea, spice and poppin' high-toned red fruit flavours dominate.
An enchanting red to drink while young and fresh - preferably with pizza.
